Okay, I am going to put together some pregens to add to those in the Sundered Skies Core Book: I assume they are in your Player's Guide.

I will then ask you each to choose 1. If you have seen the pregens in the main book and really like one of those, then please say so here.

IF you really want to create your own, using the Savage Worlds core book and Sundered Skies for equipment and extras then go ahead, but I would like to see it soon. (Also, don't forget our house rule of adding an extra Advance at 0XP).

I am def doing my own and have started.

Briefly:

Boron Broederlijke (pronounced Bro-der-lick-e) of the Clan Broederlijke, (renowned for their wonderful and often unusual brews).
Dwarven Explorer in search on new and unusual ingredients for his clans brews.

Sounds cool.
There is a PC page for the Con in the left nav bar, so when you are done, copy and fill out the template, and attach a copy of PC Sheet.

Ok, I've almost got my character finished, just sorting out the equipment and such. I've got a basic background fleshed out and ready to write up also. Before I do though, I'm curious as to whether our characters will start off knowing each other? Not a problem either way for me, but may require me to make some changes.

Sorry, Blair, I can't answer thatfor now :(

I don't even have a clue what adventure I will be running. Awaiting the delivery from MM before I can even start on that. (I might just have to buy the PDFs too - probably should have just done that for adventures anyway (or played Deadlands ;)), and I would have, until I saw the Companions that packed several together).

Off the top of my head, I would suggest it easier if you did know each other. At least some positive connections in the group. Was it the Star Wars RPG that said "make 2 positive connections and one negative one within the group"?

Just a reminder, as soon as you know ANY details of your PC, please put something up on the PC Page. Or just let me know here which pregen from the Player's Guide you like.

This is so I can create your own character forum and we don't have to keep cluttering this thread…and you can ask private Q's re your PC ;)

Just in case people haven't read the SSPG yet, here is a brief description of the pregens in there. (See the Races post under the Setting forums for more on each race).

Please indicate if you would like to claim one of these:

Elf Ex-Oakthorn; Now works to free wildlings; warrior; strong; has a death wish, god-cursed and wanted by his former kin; oakthorn armor & ironwood sword.
Orc Warpriest of The Battlelord: very strong; good fighter; bloodthirsty, stupid & ugly; casts 2 fighting miracles; hvy armor & greatsword.
Wildling Scavenger: Small part feline; agile, spirited and strong; Clueless, curious; warrior-rogue type; flintlock pistol.
Drakin Chosen Sorcerer: Small spellcaster with the long-term ability to become a dragon; Greedy, vengeful; variety of spells; above av Spirit & Vigor; staff.
Glowborn Songpriest: Bard-like priest; decent fighter, but more 'face'; code of honour, loyal and minor pacifist; protective and healing magic; magic sword, hide armor.
Human Reformed Pirate: Multi-talented; high Agility & Spirit; Heroic & Loyal; leather armor, buckler & rib blade.

Um, kind of running out of time here. I am nowhere near prepared this year due to the many unfortunate circumstances, so it would be kind of nice to at least know what people are doing about PCs.

(Due to late delivery of stuff, I am still short of SS Adventures, but have read 3 on PDF…none stand out, 1 is very good as far as exploring the SS's, but will require a fair bit on my part, given the number of locations visited. Anyway, if people can let me know re characters, then I know where to focus my energies in the little time I have left).

Hunter went through the book and liked the look of the Wildling Scavenger. I doubt he will play fully, but I might just through the cat wildling in as an NPC or if someone wants to help Hunter, etc.

Connors, I've pretty much finished updating the character sheet, moreso on the website than the actual sheet itself, and have also uploaded a pic, so that the other players might have an idea who they're traveling with.

I have started tyrping up the Pregens.

I have added the Elf Ex-Oakthorn to the bottom of the PC Page.

I will not actually add write-ups to the actual PC page unless someone actually chooses the PC. (Then they might do it for us ;)).

You could use these as egs to what extra tables and charts to add to your own sheet. Please check it out to see how it is done.

EDIT: Orc Warpriest character sheet added.
EDIT2: Wildling scavenger added too.
EDIT3: Drakin sorcerer also added.
It's been a productive night (after working til after 6 then popping down to Hockey training) ;) Anyway, I hope all this isn't for nothing. Please look over the Pregens if you need a PC. Bed now.
EDIT4: Next night. I have just spent hours on the Glowborn Songpriest. I thought the Orc Warpriest took a while. This Glowborn has cleric spells and one involves summoning a companion, so that involved stats too. Anyway, he/she to is attached to the PC Page.
All probably a waste of my time, as all players I have heard from are doing their own PCs. Anyway, Nicho (and my boys if they play) will need one and I guess they can be backups. Leigh?
EDiT5: Well the last one was fast - the Human Ex-Sky Pirate turned scavenger. That means all the pregens from the book are now all typed up. People need to choose them.

If it is ok with everyone i would be keen to play Rennik or Emeraldwing (pregenerated characters), preference for Rennik. Both if that is applicable. I am keen to read up on the setting but cannot find rules?

And for those wondering who Rennik is, he is the Human Reformed Sky Pirate.

A nice easy one to pick up Nicko. So glad someone has check the pregens out…they took a while to add. 9No harm in getting to know a couple either, as backups may just be required ;)).

RE Sundered Skies rules - we are using Savage Worlds rules (like the Marked Ones - hopefully this will show a more gritty style, given you are 'low level' without magic items).

You can get a PDF copy of the Player's Guide and a $10 copy of the Savage Worlds rules from the links above. (Or someone else might be able to get a copy to you)?
